We need to talk about education
How many managers do you know that have direct responsibility to manage anywhere between sixteen to thirty two people? In a professional setting this level of responsibility would be seen as overwhelming though it’s a common occurrence, even in the smallest private schools.
I have had the privilege of working as Principal at a top ranked UK independent IB school and yet, even a small boutique private school will struggle to manage and support a student on an independent, personal level.
I decided to launch Arika Tutoring to provide truly bespoke, tailored tutoring and mentoring services to students and families. The focus is on working towards mastery and fluency whilst also providing a holistic infrastructure that treats all students as individuals who have the ability to perform exceptionally.

Ofsted and the International Schools Association have observed my lessons where I achieved grades and feedback in ‘Outstanding/Excellent’ categories.
I have worked with and trained many excellent teachers so have an inherent understanding of how to produce and teach engaging, stimulating content resulting in students consistently improving, some progressing up to five grades from their starting point.
I have extensive experience of working with students of all backgrounds including SEN.
THE ATLAS SYSTEM
My recent work as Principal of an international school in the UK, alongside previous work in executive finance recruitment, where I won a national award, has given me a unique skill set for tutoring and coaching ambitious young people.
We all have the ability to perform exceptionally at anything we focus on and practice consistently. I have worked in different industries and experienced both career progression and outstanding results, leading me to synergise these experiences and skills into the ATLAS method of tutoring and coaching.
