Mathematics Tuition
I have worked as a Key Stage Coordinator, Head of Mathematics and Curriculum Coordinator so I have comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum at both Primary and Secondary level.
My mathematics tutoring is carefully tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring a strong grasp of the subject while nurturing academic success and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I offer support across all ability levels, from building foundational skills to developing advanced problem-solving techniques, with sessions designed to deepen understanding and boost confidence.
Primary
I tutor students from age 5 to develop an interest and love for mathematics, aimed towards building fluency.
I believe any student can engage with mathematics; the challenge is on the teacher to find a way to consistently engage the student. I have consulted with numerous primary schools and trained primary teachers to deliver fun, engaging maths in contexts young students enjoy, resulting in outstanding progress.
Secondary
I tutor Mathematics (Foundation and Higher) at GCSE/iGCSE as well as Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level.
I have taught both MYP Maths (Standard and Extended), and DP Maths (AA SL and HL) for ten years and have expertise in the curriculum, the various assessment criteria in MYP and the Internal Assessments at DP level.
